Whether it be religion, new age or other form of spiritual understanding there are a lot of times where sex and sexuality are either completely misunderstood or are treated very negatively, in some cases done so to coerce or control their followers.
My intuitive guidance is this: there is nothing wrong with having sex, including casual sex, as long as it is done from a higher vibrational level. Meaning it involves consent, mutual respect and understanding of each other as human beings and unique individuals along with open communication, understanding and responsibility. There is of course the physical side of things where protection against STI's and other forms of contraception should be used to mitigate unwanted outcomes. There are options such as PrEP, DoxyPEP and the use of condoms for example to prevent infection of the most common STI's along with HIV.
There is also nothing wrong with being who you are. That is there is nothing wrong with being Gay, Lesbian, Transgender, Bi or Pan sexual or any other. You are you, in fact your soul chose to have that unique experience before you incarnated here which is why you were born that way in the first place. That is how powerful you are as a soul and as a creator being.
